Another option is to install shelves or racks over your toilet. Again, with this option, all of you items will be in plain view so it is better to go this route of you only have a few items to store such as bath towels.

There are also pre-made over toilet racks that have legs and slide right over your toilet water tank. These racks don't require any in-wall installation, and can be removed anytime you'd like. They give a great, easy way to add some extra storage without the installation mess.

Over Toilet Baskets

One other over toilet storage option is to install a few baskets on the wall above your toilet. This option won't generally offer much extra storage space, but it will add some style to your bathroom while giving you a few small spaces to store a few extra towels.
